Is Someone Pulling Your Leg?: Sciatica, Chiropractic and Cold Laser Therapy

Your sciatic nerve is the longest and largest nerve in your body. It begins in your lower back as five smaller nerves joining together and extends to your pelvis, thigh, knee, calf, ankle, foot and toes. When this large nerve becomes inflamed the condition is called sciatica and the pain can be intense! There may be burning, prickling, and other sensations along the path of the nerve. Ironically, the leg may also feel numb!

The medical approach to sciatica is usually to treat its symptoms with painkillers, muscle relaxers and orthopedic procedures such as traction, physical therapy and surgery in extreme cases. Sciatica is particularly frustrating to treat with drugs because in many cases even strong painkillers bring little or no relief.

Vertebral subluxations (spinal nerve root irritation caused by spinal misalignment) can be directly related to sciatica. Chiropractors remove subluxations to relieve sciatic pain. Many sciatica sufferers have experienced dramatic relief after chiropractic care, and have found that chiropractic is superior to medical treatments.

The LazrPulsr® 'cold' laser has protocols which also address sciatica and related issues.  Chiropractic care and laser treatments are the best solution to any nerve pain problems, and there are no side effects!
